The first part of the Eat'Safe project was completed with the publication and dissemination of the final document, the main output of the project, by the CeSIF - Italy China Foundation's Center for Business Research, with the contribution of the law firm NCTM and the FB services logistics companies, both members of the Foundation, which provided a focus respectively on Chinese food safety legislation and the main logistical aspects to be considered in the trade in agri-food products between the two countries. In addition to editing the publishing section, the Center has provided an important scientific contribution by presenting up-to-date and exclusive data on the agri-food sector in terms of Italy-China interchange, with particular reference to the products / industries identified by the Sino-Italian Scientific Committee. The publication also presents the two scientific papers produced by the Joint Committee during the year of work.
The document is a valid guide for Italian companies in the sector who intend to operate on the Chinese market and provide basic guidance on the current state of the food sector in China and prospects for future development as well as practical guidance and recommendations on behaviors to be adopted.
