Canton Fair:
The China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, was established in the spring of 1957. It is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Guangdong Province and organised by the China Foreign Trade Centre. The fair takes place every spring and autumn in Guangzhou, China. Due to its long history, large size, variety of exhibits, high turnout of buyers, their origin and considerable turnover, the Canton Fair is widely regarded as China's leading trade fair and serves as a barometer of China's foreign trade.

A symbol of China's openness to the world, the Canton Fair has overcome many challenges and has never been interrupted since its inception. It has been successfully held for 135 sessions and has established trade relations with over 229 countries and regions around the world. The accumulated export volume reached approximately USD 1.5 trillion and the total number of foreign buyers attending the Canton Fair, both on-site and online, exceeded 10 million.

ICCF and Canton Fair:
ICCF was established in 2022 through the integration of the Italy China Foundation and the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, which became a partner of the Canton Fair shortly after the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations. Every year, some 2000/3000 Italian companies visit the Canton Fair. The invitation to this seminar is addressed not only to individual Italian companies interested in purchasing or exhibiting at the international pavilion, but also to associations from the relevant sectors.
Together with ICCF member associations dealing with foreign trade and procurement, ICCF invites the Italian business community to participate in this seminar. The aim is to discuss the strategic partnership between Italy and China for a sustainable supply chain, focusing on procurement and supply.
